Need a ride? Next week might be a good time to catch one -- on a city bus. Wichita Transit will be celebrating its 40th anniversary with cheap bus rides, gift bags and free doughnuts and ice cream. Here are the week's events: • Monday, Oct. 22: Randomly chosen passengers will get a copy of The Wichita Eagle and a free single ride pass.
