The “central issue” of gay marriage is equal protection under the law; Nothing more arcane or complex than that! Some individuals are striving very hard to create distractions. Nobody has ever posed a ration argument that supports the notion that one couple’s same-sex marriage affect, in any way anyone's "traditional" marriage.
